I had a message to trust this computer, but there was no pin. Once I tapped
trust, the iPod never showed up in iTunes.

I know with my iPod touch, it takes several minutes before it shows up in
iTunes. I don’t know why, but it can take up to five plus minutes before you
see the iPod register and you can access it.
