Hi,
True. But, for what ever reason, that is the line they want to take.
But I agree, I wouldn't even mention I'm running it on
x27;s
either Window-Eyes, prefered, or NVDA, and even then, I'd rather not use
Windows period, but I kind a got no choice with my job in place.
Chris.

i run Windows 7 with VMWare Fusion on my Mac, and JAWS works fine. Why would
FS´s official line be that they do not support it, since it is still on
Windows? Why should the hardware matter to them? It should only be a software
issue to them. I called them the other day with a question and ju
se is not necessary), but I want to be sure.

I think I know the answer (the mouse is not necessary), but I want to be
sure.

Hi Phil,
I've never done anything with Boot Camp, but a search of Apple's own
documentation pulls up the following (with source locations so you can
check this yourself):
Source: Boot Camp Installation & Setup Guide
http://manuals.info.apple.com/en/boot_camp_install-setup.pdf
Under "What you need
"I've always used a wired mouse."
Great, but do you need a mouse to install windows7 in bootcamp? That's all I
want to know, is a mouse necessary? Can the installation be done by keyboard
alone?
Please anser this one question.

I think the thing to keep in mind is that FS says they will not support Jaws
running on a Mac. I'm running VIsta on my Mac. I don't think you'll have any
problem running win7, but who knows.

the only disatvantage with fusion and jaws is:
If you make any changes to your vm, you loose an authorization key.
Just with my experiences.

Hello. Yes, the information you received was incorrect. The official line
may be that JAWS doesn't work on the Mac. Freedom Scientific has told me
that JAWS is not supported in VM Fusion. However, JAWS works in both Fusion
and Bootcamp. I've always used a wired mouse.
