Mike, I understand that,
This is very helpful, and I thank you for the list. While I will have
a look at it, I'm frustrated that it is yet another program to master
when the one I am already using meets all of my personal needs. Oh
well, at least there are options.
I may try the Eudora client first since I used it
Without being disrespectful to someone who doesn't read this list, I
believe that certain individuals are sometimes control freaks who feel
that the only way to make sure that a person is actually working is to
determine when he/she reads his/her mail.

Mike, I understand that, but how do they use them? Do they send them with every
message or expect you to send them with each message? Sounds a little overkill,
but I am sure there is a reason.
Thanks,

Actually, I hate them, but my place of employment practically insist on them.
For me personally, they are useless, and I don't blame Apple for never having
implemented the feature. Nevertheless, I am stuck.

right direction. Heather

Not to turn this into an endless discussion, but I really am curious if people
really respond to all of these return receipts or is it something that happens

Normally, receipt requests aren't important to me, but they are to the
organization for which I work. I'm afraid that if I don't find something, I'll
have to do all my mail under Windows which, in my case, is very doable but not
desirable.
I guess I will need to look for new e-mail clients unde
Hi,
This is actually a feature I've wanted ever since I got my Mac. I kind of miss
this one, as I need it a lot. Hopefully, this will be supported, eventually,
though I don't really understand why it is not.
Can anyone shed some light on this?
Regards,
Nic

Hello Anne,
Oh, that's not good, but it can't be helped, I guess.
Since this feature is used a lot in my office, I may have problems.
Do you know if there are any other mail clients for the Mac that work well with
VO? I hate to change, but the lack of this feature may be a show stopper for
