Double tap and hold on any app until vo says "editing apps". Then lift your
finger, double tap Read2go, and double tap delete when the confirmation popup
appears. This will erase all your books too, so you'll have to download them
again and you will lose your place in them. Once it is gone, hit
You are absolutely right that it shouldn't operate worse on a more
powerful device... This is why I am so puzzled and frustrated.
How does one uninstall an app, anyway?
Thanks,

If Bookshare support does not help, you could try deleting and re-installing
the app. That is the only thing I can think to do; an app running worse on a
more powerful device just doesn't make sense.

Hi there,
I'm using the iPhone 5 RTG app. I did not have any problems at all
with the app with my iPhone 4.
I've posted this question to the iPhone listserv as well but didn't
get a response, so I thought I'd try here just in case.
Thanks,

Brian,
I'm not finding this with my iPhone 4s. Are you using the tts that Read2go
provides or reading with VoiceOver?
I use the TTS and have no problems.

skip ahead or back one or more pages, randomly and with no warning. Is that
what you are talking about, or do you mean that speech sounds like it is
skipping or broken?

Hi Alex,
Thanks, I'm using Daisy text -- at least as far as I know, since I'm
downloading the files directly through the app. I've tried to read books,
newspapers, magazines, you name it, at all different speeds, and it just
skips like crazy.
I'm very frustrated, and puzzled.
