Hi,
As far as I can tell, it's only for the iPhone 7 which likely was sold with a
earlier iteration of the iOS. Those of us who updated on or after the public
release last Tuesday already have 10.01.

Ok, it must be an iPhone 7 thing.
Sounds good, so far so good after updating.

Scott,
It was the same thing here. The 7 I got on Friday, was running 10.0. I
wondered about that, but thought that perhaps that was the last approved
release before they shipped the phone (I'm not a beta tester.) this morning,
10.01 showed up.

Something call 10.0 which I never saw on the gold master side. It’s almost
like it had a previous version of the beta or something.

Wonder why the update didn’t show up until over the weekend. I tried it Friday
first thing on activation.
Odd but good we’re all on the same page now.

Hi,
My iPhone 6s+ is already running the IOS 10.0.1 but this I think was what
installed last week as the IOS 10 update from 9.3.x
And just checking there is no other current update I can see.
What was your 7 running prior to the current update.

Apparently, the iPhone 7+ which you received was preloaded with iOS 10.0. So,
you were updated to the updated release.

No I don't have a 7. I'm running the latest gold master build which is the
public release on my iPhone SE. Odds are that that update you saw was for the 7
to be on the same version as everyone else.

So when I got my iPhone unpacked I was running 10.0 which was different than
the version in my old phone which was the 10.0.1. I ran the software update
though and nothing was available. I never enrolled my new phone in the beta
program so unless it’s based on the ID I don’t think so. I never
Hey Scott. Are you still on the beta? When I checked for updates, my iPhone
said that my software was up to date. I find it odd that Apple would release an
update over the weekend but oh well. Oh yeah, my software update screen said
that I was running 10.0.1 already.
