Be aware that the M2 Pro has a touchbar instead of actual function keys.
I wouldn't care for that myself.

Do you want the better performance and the extra ports of the MacBook Pro? I
did, and I'm glad of it, but that's my choice, and your needs will be different
from mine. Think about whether you'll be using it for CPU-intensive work.
