Hi,
I suggest, if possible, you look at changing from POP to iMap on your Mac as
well. Unless I'm confused with your current state, and if it is indeed
currently POP on your Mac, you may need to do some exporting then re-importing.
Although, if your iOS device has exactly the same content wit

Subject: Re: Fundamental Problem Moving Folders in Mailbox
Hi,
Thanks for the link will read it. One thing I noticed, and have not
focused more attention on it yet, is the badge numbers do not seem to
match iPhone and Mac. Minor but curious and will dig further.

Hi,
You only need to use the synchronize feature if your iMap mail messages on
multiple devices don't appear to be properly syncing. That is, maybe you read
some messages on your iPhone, didn't delete them, but for some reason they're
not showing up on your Mac. There's a few other situations
Hi,
If the account can be changed to iMap, one doesn't even need to export, you can
simply move the contents of each folder to the iMap account from within Mail

Hi,
You can tell if your account is an iMap, Exchange, POP etc in iOS by going to
Settings, Passwords & Accounts, double-tapping the account and reading the info
there.

Tim,
What is the purpose of the synchronize function in the Mail app?
And in retrospect, exporting that POP mail to IMAP probably would
have worked assuming the same folders existed.

Hi,
Pop might be a factor here. I use iMap for all as I don't care for Pop much at
all. Is your iOS device using Pop or iMap?
