have used ABBY with a flatbed on the mac with no problems at all.
i’m using an older scanner but it still works.

Yes I have used that package too couldn’t remember its name earlier but I
really liked it when I used it in the past - I think it will also let you do
OCR from pictures taken on a phone but I could be wrong

Hi Marshall,
I use a Canon LID220 flatbed scanner and Serotek's DocuScan+. It works
beautifully! I also use DocuScan+ with my networked HP laser jet
printer which has a scanner in it as well.

Hi, personally I would not do any scanning with in the mac system,
have a study where reading huge books is a must for me , and the best
I have found so far is a book scanner, and windows running in a vm on
the mac.
It all depends on what you need it for of course , scanning a few
pages, or a few h
