Yes. Just make sure you have the correct one highlighted. Also, if you are
running the beta, it's not going to appear that you have that space back.

the one that does, then yes you can boot into the one with Mavericks on it.
I'm surprised this isn't entirely possible while you're booted into Mavericks.
