the low power desk top is probably dead. They have the much higher end Mac Pro
but that’s a very high dollar item.

the 2014 model and was hoping to upgrade again next year! I think the desktop
is dead for sure now. There is no way I’m shelling out over £2000 for an up to

Well, USB-C will replace the magsafe power adaptor as USB-C is powerful enough
to charge a portable computer like a mac. Right now, the 12 inch Macbook can
only charge via USB-C, so it is expected that future Macbook models will charge
the same way.

Both the 7 and 7+ now have optical image stabilization as well, not just
electronic like the 6 and 6s models. SO that difference is no longer there.
Mainly more memory, more screen, more battery and an extra camera.
