That's good that services are back up and running. Question still remains
though, what's going on with the public beta for iOS? Are they still gonna
release it today or are they looking at a different date?

I don’t believe this to be a planned outage. It appears to be, for the most
part, world wide. I won’t bother speculating, other than to say, it’s down and
you can’t purchase media at the moment.
