But you don’t need your Apple ID to reach the stores on your watch. You want
the iCloud ID, because that’s the one that handles Handoff and whatnot. It
would work (less well, but it would work) without the Apple ID, if you didn’t
need any Apple ID exclusives such as Apple Pay.

The user name was dimmed. I had to use icloud, not the id I use to download
apps from the app store.
