The problem is that the Mac client is very old and doesn't support
current Microsoft codecs, but will do older flavors of Microsoft's DRM.
For newer Microsoft codec support you can use Flip For Mac but this does
not handle Microsoft's DRM at all. Last I heard Microsoft has not
released code or

Thanks David I wasn't aware that Windows Media player stopped working after
10.3. Unfortunately this particular broadcaster has chosen this format for all
kinds of DRM-based reasons. I'll hassle them a bit and see what they recommend.
