Well, to be fair, I don't think you're missing much smile. Although it's nice
to be able to do what sighted users of the Mac do - drag something from A to B,
Hi Jim,
No I've never had that. Sometimes, I've not been too sure what's under the
mouse, though.

Hi James,
I did disable curosor tracking, but still no luck. I think for now I'm just
going to put it on the back burner.

Hi!
I've had some success with drag and drop but sometimes I get this weird message
that says "nothing is under the mouse" even though I've just routed the mouse

That might explain why i couldn't accomplish what I wanted to. Thank you for
the confirmation. Perhaps Apple will increase the effectiveness and scope of

Hi, just dropping in here.

cursor tracking off as a first step.
I would like to use this for drag n dropping tracks/loops/samples in garage

Hello James,
I have only got drag&drop to work in Mail preferences for applying signatures
to accounts, and in System Preferences Language pane for changing the order of
languages in the table.
I can only create aliases on the Desktop. I can't drag&drop across windows or
to reorder icons in a
Hi Donna,

disable cursor tracking first. However, I could not get it work in the
SendSpace Wizard.

Hello `james,
Drag&Drop works for me. This is how I do it:
• Find what I want to move with VO;
• turn cursor tracking off (VO-Shift-F3);
• Route the mouse to the VO cursor (VO-Command-F5);
• Press VO-Command-Shift-Spacebar to pick up the item;
• Navigate with VO to where I want to place the item;

I am having serious trouble with dragging and dropping. I have read the VO help
and tried to do it with both cursor tracking on and off but no joy. I get the
