Great work. Thanks, Gigi. I too am happy to do anything I can to help them with
this. I agree better PDF support for VoiceOver is really needed on the Mac, and
PDFPen seems to have all the pro features that one would need with PDF editing
software. I hope they can do the same thing on iOS as wel
Hi there
I just sent the developers two files, both blank forms directly from the
Internal Revenue web site. I did this for comparison purposes. This is because
when I filled out my taxes with these forms the first six lines of the 1040 did

You might try PDFpen Pro. I used it this year to do my tax forms. It seems to
work pretty well although there were some fields that didn't fill-in. I plan to
send them a copy of the blank form to see if it was the form or the program.
They said they are interested in Accessibility.

Hi.
I have tried using PDF pen pro, but I can not get it to work as I wish. Could
anyone give some hints. I have bought the program long ago. Yesterday I thought
I could use it, but no it wouldn't work, but I could use it for copying the
form to textedit and fill it out that way.

trial here:
http://smilesoftware.com/PDFpen/index.html
but if you like it they want $60.

textEdit say that the stuff I filled out wouldn't print. Not sure why
that was but I cheated and re-printed it to a PDF on my end and that
seemed to fix it. To do that, even if you don't have a printer set up on
the Mac, you
Curious question: if you fill out a pdf form in TextEdit, does it use rtf
format? Do you then have to export it again to pdf, and does it retain the
formatting?

Yes I did open it in text edit but it would not read it. It read it perfectly
in Preview but found I could not fill in the form. I'll try it again in Text
edit but I only have Mavericks.
