Unfortunately the mail is on the computer. Is there a way to upload it to the
server? And would that simplify things? Or
still have working mail
account if the imap doesn't for some reason work.
Good luck,

Once you have setup a mail account as POP, you can’t change it. You will have
to create a new mail account in order to use IMAP.
As I said
I don't believe you can transfer anything from Outlook to the Apple mail
client. you just set up your mail account in the Apple mail client and move
forward from there. once you set up and start using an IMAP mail, you're good
to go moving forward. I don't think you can do anything about what wa
I had a feeling. So, to make sure I have this straight in my own mind I need
to:
First set up an apple mail account;
Second transfer the contents of Outlook into it on the computer.
Is that correct?
Thanks,

As I said, once POP mail has been downloaded from the server, you can’t put it
back. It is a one way deal.

This is correct. If you are setup to use IMAP with your mail provider on your
iPhone,, all your mail boxes and their contents exist on your provider’s mail
server, and will just show up when you setup your account in the Mac Apple Mail
application.

I'm not sure if that makes a difference. I use my email A Lot, however, I
don't need it to do anything fancy. I just ended my twenty-one year

Microsoft Outlook for Mac works well for me, and the current Office 365 version
is quite accessible with VoiceOver. It's effective for working with mail and
the calendar. I haven't tried anything else with Outlook, though.

I agree. The stock Apple Mail app on a Mac is the most VoiceOver accessible
mail app I have used.
While the Microsoft office suite has come along way, and is accessible on a
Mac, it still doesn't compare with the native apple Mac apps.

I recently switched from a (Older) Microsoft PC to my new IMac. To put it

guide for how to use Outlook (preferably using Voice Over)? And? Is Outlook
really the most accessible email app?
