Overlay wouldn't be an issue. The windows from the various apps are
independent of the menus. If there's an app, or agent, running in the
background that keeps taking focus, that may cause the issue. These would be
special apps though, ones that do not normally have any menus as a part o
I’ve been doing a lot of tweaking and have at least made this issue very
repeatable.
With just the Finder open, this will happen repeatedly. With another app open,
it will still happen repeatedly…
1. I’m in Finder, positioned on the desktop, focused on an icon.
2. No other Finder windows open.
