I use Ariadne and I too am lukewarm towards it. It does name street names, but
doesn't seem particularly accurate. It is also a bit hit and miss to get it to
say the street name. Is BlindSquare different?

I purchased Ariadne a long time ago, and haven't used it in ages. I remember
feeling lukewarm toward it when I experimented with it. If I recall, it was
because it did not name street names, or named them way too late to be
practical, particularly in an unfamiliar area. But as I said, I haven'

Good morning folks.
I for one love Blindsquare and use it on my way to work.
Its great for bus traveling, and I have set up many favourites with it.
I also use motion x GPS drive along side of blind square.
Cheaper option than navigon and I still get turn by turn.

A taxi Driver just has to look at my guide dog before they want to charge me
extra! I do not let them get away with that.

When using public transportation, you can monitor intersections to determine
when your bus stop is coming up, or to monitor the route a cab driver is
taking. You can also assist a driver in a private car with planning a route.

Did you say BlindSquare works while driving? What's the purpose of this? Does
it mean I can now go and drive a car by myself and just have BlindSquare direct
me? That would be pretty awesome, even if I had to stick to 30 MPH. :)

Kawal, are you talking about Blindsquare? It has all element labeled and it

your iOS, you'll hear explanations of each element as you go. When you know

I have only tried it when I open the App. I can't get Tracking to work either.
Is the map a picture map? I don't know how to use the tracking feature. Nothing
seems to be labelled or perhaps I don't no what to do with it.

Just another note about shaking: it's good to know that shaking is available on
for apps that are running on foreground. That's iOS limitation.

Hi
I can't say anything about the Seeing eye gps as it hasen't come to Sweden yet,
however i've tried Blindsquare and am not friends with it at all. I'm probably
doing something wrong but i have noticed that when i turn into a street,
Blindsquare doesn't announce the street i have turned into b

Thanks for the feedback. Would be interesting to hear if anyone has a Sendero

I only acquired Blind Square recently, and haven't really given it a go yet. I
can tell you that I am disappointed thus far with Seeing Eye GPS.

"behind me" when I do arrive home.

Hey Gigi, Just wanted to say thanks so much for the comparison. I have used

is due to GPS not being a perfect accuracy down to the smallest d
