I’ve noticed this as well on my 12; I find it the worst when trying to type, so
in the end I have to take my glasses off and put them away, because I either
type characters I didn’t intend to, or the predictive text pops up when I don’t
want it to.

Yes, I have as well. It is worse on my 11 pro than on my wife’s 15 Pro.
