I have had an opportunity to check the bug during my lunch break at our local
Apple store. I could reproduce the issue on both mac books and an iMac.
I was glad to see it wasn't just my machine but am annoyed that it does seem to
be an actual bug.

I am using a Mac Book Air but am positive that this is not the issue. I have
made sure not to touch the track pad. I am able to make the behaviour occur by
following the steps I outlined before. Whilst typing this message I have jumped
up to the menu bar whilst zoom is at 20 times,
