Hi, No, QuickNav should not be part of the picture. The VO-j method, of course, is only usable when the Preview Pane is active. As long as the VO-j action automatically interacts with the Message Content area, it should still work for you. Should is my favourite word in computer-land though.

Hi, I believe what is happening here is primarily related to iMap mail accounts not loading messages as fast as they should. I have three main accounts along with a few seldom used others. Of the three main accounts, one is an iCloud iMap, one a POP, and one a Google Apps gMail iMap account.

This is usually a mail server problem and not something you can fix. Often times when I get it I just try sending again a few seconds later and things go through. All depends on who your mail provider is. While you might be using POP or IMAP to retrieve messages, all sent mail goes through SMTP

Hi, Yes, try Jessi's suggestion. Navigate to the Date Received column and use VO-Shift-Backslash to sort in that column. Issue the command again if you need to reverse the order. It sounds as though your messages are sorted on another column, or could they be grouped by thread? Cheers
