You can actually see the link in the plain text of the email, in addition to
the attachment menu in Mail. This means that MailDrop is just the ticket for
getting Apple to host your self-expiring temporary downloads for you. :)

I don’t believe I have encountered a MailDrop attachment, but it was advertised
to work exactly like a regular attachment if you are using a Macintosh, and if
not it should act like a link.
