It is really very easy once you figure out what’s going on.

Hi Guys,
I just went through this while setting up my Mojave partition for my studio.
To make a long whacked out story short My Wife verified if you just enter the
code from apple each time you enter it its advances to the next "slot" ready

Something to remember.
those verification are time sensitive. By which I mean, they may have
expired by the time you make more than one attempt. also trying more
than once, in some cases, triggers a security factor.
Speaking personally? call apple support.
If its a bug they should know, i

The numbers 1 thru 6 aren’t really there. They are identifiers for the spaces
where digits from the code number are to be entered.
I have done this procedure several times, and have found the process to be very
simple and VoiceOver accessible.
Perhaps you should contact Apple Accessibility for
ok, wow, now this makes sense - so if I understand you, after receiving my code
from my iPad, I enter it in my mac book air by listening for the number 1, and
then enter the first number of my code, and then go to number 2 and put in the
second number of the code etc …right? Ok I will try this.
NO, I am afraid you are getting it all wrong. The 1 through 6 that you are
talking about are the 6 slots to put your passcode in. Just like on the device
that received your confirmation code, you can swipe right to read each
individual number of the code, so on the input side you can swipe right
also, the numbers 1 through 6 are incorrect because my code has numbers higher
than 6 - I often have a 9 and a 0 ….I think it is not accessible -

times and the verify button remains dulled out - I think it is simply not
accessible with voice over

The numbers 1 thru 6 are place holders for the code numbers.
When you enter the 6-digit verification code, it is automatically entered into
the 6 fields For the code.
For example, if your code is 456123; the first digit 4, will be entered into
the first space, the second digit 5, will be entered
Hi,
In using 2 factor verification, I receive the code on my iPad to enter into my
mac book air, os catalina, but I cannot figure out how to enter the code. There
is an edit field with numbers 1 through 6, but the code often comes with 9 or
0. How do I add this code?
Thanks.
