that's to empty the trash. lol. cmd del is the command to move to trash except
if you del off of your bootcamp drive.

Yep, simply press cmd-delete and whatever items are selected go
direcly to the trash. Also, if you delete something by mistake, it's
worth noting that you can press cmd-z to undo the deletion.
