Hi:
Make sure that your column browser is set to sho instead of hide. pressing
command b. toggles this feature. you should be able to see the music
categorized by artist and album when in the playlist browser. HOpe that helps.

I should be able to figure this out after all this time, but my song
collection is growing quite a lot, and I'm trying to figure out how to
change the songs table to show as groups of albums instead of
individual songs.
Any help with this is sure appreciated.
