I prefer icon view myself as I find list view too complicated. But like voices,
the style that finder presents files to you is subjective so use whatever suits
you.

I also find column view to not speak with just up and down arrow keys alone but
vo-up and vo-down keys works like a charm. I’m thinking particularly for an
upcoming mac user that she will use list view till further notice, and think I
will as well. Thoughts?

I find increasingly column view is a problem if you are using that.
Switching to list view improvesmatters.

I upgraded my 2012 Mini from Yosemite. The only problem I am having is that
Finder is very slow if viewing a large folder. Anyone experience this, or have
a solution?

Gotcha. Thanks. I wasn’t aware of this bug. I have a 2011 Mac Mini I’ve been
debating whether I want to upgrade all the way up to Sierra from Mavericks.
That’s why I asked.

Yes. Like I said, only 2010 Macs have this issue. Newer Macs don't have the
problem.

What bug is this with Alex? I use Alex all of the time and I’ve never had a
crash. Is this specific to older models of the Mac?

It depends on what Mac you have. If you have a 2010 Mac and if it's a must that
you use Alex, I don't recommend updating to Sierra. There's a major bug at
present that Alex crashes Voiceover and you need to restart your computer with
the power button. But if you have a newer Mac or you don't nec
Same here. Best release since at most Mavericks.

Just curious, why install it if what you have works?
