OK, two more things to try. Have you repaired permissions? And maybe resetting
the PRAM would help.
To reset the PRAM, shut down the computer, then hold down the Command, Option,
R and P keys, then press the power key and keep holding the other four keys
down until you've heard the startup chim
Hi,
Nope. My settings haven't reverted since the update. First thing I did after
noticing this behavior was to check all my settings in case more had been added.

Hello Nic,
Another possibility is that the update undid your navigation settings. Have you
looked at them in VoiceOver Utility?
Recently, all my VO settings reverted to defaults for no apparent reason and
what alerted me to this, was VO speaking hints while I was reading mail.
Cheers,
Anne

Hello Nic,
Would you, by any chance, have put Quick Nav on by mistake? This can cause all
kinds of weird behaviour and it's so easy to do by accident.

HEllo, yes I have noticed too, at times it takes very long for vo to respond
after waking my macbook pro up. I did not realize this started after the update.

Hi,
I wanted to know if I am the only one experiencing this and if there is a fix
before doing so. Though, I suppose it doesn't hurt to report it even if there
is.
It might take your VoiceOver a little while to respond after waking up, but I
have never experienced this. I'm just happy the logi
Hi Nic,
I know what you mean about writing and re-writing phrases. I have not sen this
behaviour, but it seems that this update has broken some VO things. I've
noticed that sometimes it takes me some time to get VO to respond after waking
up my Mac.
Have you reported this to Apple?

happen for a little while, but it started happening ever since yesterday
rolled around. Not sure why, since I haven't changed anything. At least, not
anything I can think of.
Basically, m
