The first one I tried to update was an IPhone 5C I got from a sprint store, which also for some reason, came with IOS7, and have no idea if it was a new or refurbished phone. I wouldn't think Sprint, or any other carrier would sell refurbished IPhones, but could be wrong. The replacement one
