You need a micro-USB cable, not supplied (oh, the horror! — Apple). Connect it
to your Mac or PC with iTunes, then plug in the power cable and switch on. In
a few moments you’ll be presented with the option to do a full wipe of your
Apple TV and update to the latest software.
