Yes that is the case. I don't want the e-mails to just bombard my phone as I
receive a lot of e-mails and I just don't want them flooding my phone all the
time. You definitely hit the nail right on the head:)

Hi,
in settings/mail, you can set the mail app to display 100 messages. To see
more than that, you need to delete some or, move some to other folders.

Hi,
you have to set your e-mail account up as exchange to do this. Or, be using an
iCloud e-mail address.

Hi Colin,
This is great info, thanks for this. I do travel periodically and it would be
nice to keep up with e-mail when I choose not to bring our Mac.

Ricardo,
I occasionally download mail to my phone but it's usually by accident as a
result of launching the Mail App. How does one get access to all of the e-mail
that is downloaded? In my inboxz, I seem to get 50 messages available max, but

And if this is indeed the case, it can't be done. For every time one opens
the mail app, it refreshes and adds new messages. I guess the best way to go

Hi,
you can't. Thats just what the iPhone does. When you open the e-mail app, it
