Hi do you have access to the email on a mac or pc? you could remove them there

If you are using gmail account with IMAP you can delete from computer.

You can use cmd + a to select all followed by the delete key. There must be a
way to select, say the last 100 messages but I haven't figured it out yet.

edit, selecting what you want to delete, and either deleting or moving them
elsewhere, depending on what you have your settings set to.
