Hi, looking for help for the command that will take you back to where you were
working after somehow getting kicked out of that area, for example a webpage,
and put onto the desktop. How do you go back to that web page? I am a teacher
who is trying to learn voiceover to help my student. I have a
Hi,
The easiest method for this would be to make sure that the Show iTunes in the
Cloud Purchases box is checked in the Store pane of your iTunes Prefs. When
this item is checked, and you’re selected on the entire Music Library of
iTunes, there should be an item that reads either “Local”, “Dow
Hello!
Ok this is going to be a bit complicated to explain but i will do a try.
I by mistake deleted my itunes library.
I’dthought i was deleting some tracks only but unfortunately i was wrong.
The good thing about that is that i can do a new ripping of my cd collection

Oh right, well if you chose that option then I guess you're fine. No need to
worry so long as you can remember the answers to your three questions. I doubt
you'll forget the password though as you have to enter it every time you turn
on your Mac.

Strange. It has an option to store the key with apple so why wouldn’t they keep
it.
As far as the login, it only does it at first boot, if it awakes from sleep, it
uses regular voice over. Otherwise the beep method. It scared me at first, but
i got it right the first time.

In Mountain Lion I was able to copy the key using VO-Shift-C, to copy the last
spoken phrase. You should be able to use this—it's a great one to remember when
VO can't interact and select text to be copied.
Apple will not be able to email you the key as Apple does not keep any copy for
security
I haven’t lost the password, yet, though i really wanted to write down the key
and couldn’t. So I’ll need to call AppleCare and ask them for the key and email
it to myself. How were you able to copy the key? When I am able to generate a
new key I’ll try your way of copying to see if it changed o
Did you lose your password? You only need the key if you've lost your password
which you would have made up. And actually I did find some way to copy the
recovery key but maybe that was an older version of filevault and things have
changed.

Hey list,
I’ve enabled File Vault2, a way to encrypt your disk with sensitive information
or other info. But the recovery key I couldn’t write down as there is no way of
interacting with VO to copy the text of the key. So now, I no longer have the
key anywhere, and VO has a beep prompt at login
Yes, I discovered that. For some odd reason, the home button wasn't displayed
the few times before that I'd tried this. Then I tried last night and there it
was. Strange. Thanks.

setting up your gmail did you follow the instructions from the tidbits.com
