Hi all,
In the menu bar while in safari, go to the history menu. In there, there is an
item that says reopen all windows from last session. Uncheck that, and Safari
will no longer reopen windows when you quit it.

does not always apply the change. There is a thread in Apple Discussions where
sighted users have noted similar inconsistency with that option. I just

I'm not sure why you'd need to make that sort of recent items change. I
didn't, and all it took was an initial launch, quit, and relaunch of Safari for
it to work as intended.

The method Zack mentioned in the General System Pref works great although the
first time I unchecked that box, it did not do what it was supposed to. I had
