My experience mirrors yours more closely I think. I freshly installed from Crucial USB flash drive with out issue. That in combination with SSD makes for a fairly speedy and clean install. One thing once in a while I get stuck where it won’t read my status, a simple VO restart clears the issu

Everyone has different workflows. As another list member has pointed out activities and using Safari where VoiceOver jumps all over the place in El Capitan is very painful. In comparison I find my BootCamp version of Windows 10 and JAWS 17 to be remarkably stable. Thanks for writing in. I

Have done that a time or two and just did it now. Had to restart the Mac after it booted. An issue I see on occasion is where I might be arrowing menu extras or desktop icons and VO will not speak alternate items. Example, speak A skip B speak C skip D and so on. The busy is still there

As of El Capitan 10.11.4, I downgraded to Yosemite 10.10.5. Yosemite has issues, but nothing like the nonsense in El Crap, which Apple are clearly never going to get around to fixing until macOS 12 gets released. Activities and hotspots, which both matter to me, for example, are still buggered

another bug that I am aware of has to do with safari. When you are is safari and command-tab to get to another app, it will sometimes keep placing you in safari no matter what you do. It will also read the text your cursor was on when you switched to another app. I don't know the steps to reproduce

For the most part the upgrade went well. I am seeing some interesting and strange behaviors though. First noticed it in App Store. I would lose VO and it took invoking either Window or Application Chooser to straighten it out. Just now, a new one. If I try to run Time Machine, I hear
