I downloaded it this evening, and when I came back in here to check the
download, the mac was completely frozen, to the point of where I had to go into
recovery mode and reboot the mac that way.
I then restarted, opened the app, and it locked up my mac.
Very frustrating. I'm running an early 2011
I didn't even do cmd-q. I just went to applications and copied and pasted it
elsewhere and went right back to the installer to continue.

I'm currently going through the very slow process of downloading Yosemite.
Is there any way I can use the version I'm downloading to update multiple Macs
or do I need to download it on each one? If the download is stored somewhere,
