I never look for accessibility in application preferences but I think I'm going to have to start. The suggestion you made worked out fine. I unchecked the tweet type and whala, it was just like it used to be. Does anyone know of any other default apps that come on the Mac that has accessibility

Lion is different but I'm getting used to it. It seems to read more in some cases and less in others. In Syrinx, I used to be able to move up and down the messages table and it would just speak what had been written. Now VO announces that it is a mention, retweet and so on. Thats a little anoyin
