Hello,
The old trick of double-tap and hold to move and delete apps doesn’t seem to
work on IOS 11. Anyone else encounter this, and is there a work around?
Thanks
Chris

Hi,
I recently purchased a Bluetooth keyboard from the Apple store, and I love it.
I am using it to work more efficiently with my iPhone.
I was wondering if there was a way to delete apps by invoking keyboard
commands. You can delete text from within a document, but I have not found any
way
Hello, I downloaded a couple of games that I can't play and I would like to

So How do I get rid of an app that I no longer want or need? Also, how would I
get my music in to Itunes from my music folder. Be nice, I'm coming from

Double tap but hold on the second tap, you are now in edit icon mode (move by
default) now double tap the app, this will not open it, it will now delete it,
once done hit the home button again.

Hi,
You can't delete calendar from your iPhone. The way to delete the apps that
are able to be delete is to double tap the screen but hold your finger down on
the 2nd tap. You will here it say moving app. now you find the app you want
to delete and double tap like when you want to open it.
But double tapping is to open not to delete as far as I understand, I
want to delete iCal since I don't have an account, I am in Sweden how
can I create an account for iCal? It is complaining that I don't have a
microphone although I connect the headset that came with the iPOD so
how to either
Or maybe mine is. :)

To move an app, is it a single tap and hold or a double tap and then
hold?

Hi Donna,
Allow me to clarify a bit. The delete an app gesture is the same. It just
doesn't announce you've entered the mode anymore unless you have hints turned
on. I know you just upgraded today so let me add, to open the app switcher
menu press the home button twice. to remove/close the

this gesture appears to have changed. Tapping and holding now seems to allow
you to move an app, but not to delete it. I've checked the links to the manual
that Esther posted, but haven't found anything on removing an app. Anyone
figured out how to do this?
