Subject: converting mp3 files on the mac
Hi
Hi all,
I had a program called All to mp3 on my older mac.
I thought I’d backed it up but can’t find it anywhere.
Can someone tell me where I can download this free program for my macbook air?
I find it easier to convert things with this program rather than iTunes.
Blessings,

Hi,
if mp3 is already selected by default for conversions, tell him to just select
the track and do a control click. This would be VO shift M for voiceover users
btw, and there will be a convert to mp3 option in the menu. If it doesn't say
this, for example its says, convert to AAC, tell him
Mark,

My husband has a macbook running snow leopard. He does not use vo.
He wants to convert files in itunes to mp3. How would I tell him to do this.
I know how to do it with vo but that doesn't help in this situation.
Thanks,

I looked at that when the question came up earlier but wma is about the
only format it doesn't support. Here are the ones it does:
8svx aif aifc aiff aiffc al amb amr-nb amr-wb anb au avr awb caf cdda
cdr cvs cvsd cvu dat dvms f32 f4 f64 f8 fap flac fssd gsm gsrt hcom htk
ima ircam la lpc lpc1
That sounds complex. I'll stick with iTunes.

Hi all,
Is there a way to convert a file to mp3 without using iTunes?
Example, you're in a file list and you run across something you want to
convert. Is there a way to do this without having to put the file into your
iTunes.
Also, is there some way to burn files to cd without using iTunes?
Maybe
What I mean is can you highlight a file in a list
and issue a command that will convert that file to mp3.

Hi,
I'm not sure what you mean. Do you mean, can you use another application to
convert the files? Or, once the files have been converted in iTunes, can you
find it in the finder? Honestly, I think using iTunes is the easiest way to
convert such files. Especially if you have your recently a
