I’ll have to take a look at that. I thought Libbey was also just a
play-on-demand service, as well, and not an actual download?

Okay that makes sense sorry thanks for the explanation.

According to what I read, users will no longer be able to download MP3 format
audio books from Overdrive once using Catalina. This means that the only way to
listen to an audio book from Overdrive will be to listen directly on the device
during the time limit of the loan from the library. I usua

I guess no one surely knows until they try the new operating system, just make
sure you have used Super Duper or similar to perform a full backup before you
start.

Hi!
FIrst of all the Safari bug is stil present where voiceover says insertionpoint
at blbla.
Secondly the brailledisplay just gets blank when i try to read some text on
some pages.
I try to interact with the text with no luck.
The only thing that helps is to turn off quicknav and move the curso
I still want to know what these bugs are. I mean, irritating in Safari isn’t
very specific. I want to know if they’re irritating enough to justify holding
off or not.

Interesting perspective, because many many complaints are in fact
Voiceover bugs. So Voiceover is not of much importance as the rest.
We'll just suggest that Voiceover users send feedback to Apple. Right.

No, I was not serious. Really, if you require a rock-solid build, I’d wait
until the second major release, or even until next June when it should be
pretty solid, lol. That’s just one of the problems of having a yearly release,
things are rushed.

Are you serious, Devin? Let me see... No, this isn't SNL. Fact
check. The Catalina public beta started over 3 months ago. I guess
iOS/iPadOS was the primary focus and Macs are primarily used in work
environments so it is not worthy of our time snf effort. By the way. if

Lol because its release week now and oh my gosh it’ll actually effect a large
number of people now and we may not be ready. Ah well, maybe there are blind
people at Apple who use Macs who can help whatever bugs remain get ironed out
because Macs are work devices. At least the pro ones.

Hi!
You can upgrade but be aware that there are irritating things with Safari and
VoiceOver.
Especially if you’re using a braille display.

OS X has long been replaced by macOS. No, Catalina has not yet been
released, but it should happen this week. No, there is no compelling reason to
upgrade. You can stick with Mojave and
release of production version.
As for your ability,
I’d say advanced beginner to intermediate.

That is what I intend doing, I’m quite happy to sit back and let others find
any bugs or issues with voice over. I still regard myself as a beginner and
don’t want to get any surprises. Also I’ve always used modern view in the email
app so losing the classic view doesn’t bother me.
