Yes, when disconnecting devices, it can get confused. Try this next time you
want to use your Echo dot and I think you’ll find that works as well!

Where under sounds would I find that? I thought I’d checked over everything I
could there, but maybe I’m missing something.
So far, all I’m finding is that my speaker is connected, the output volume
level, and that checkboxes are checked for sounds to play through it.

Yeah, well, hope yours don’t all blow at the same time. Let me tell you
replacing that many involves a hefty price tag. And I will say that when my
husband posted our experience to the Sonos user list, we very quickly learned
that we aren’t the first people that that has happened to.

I would strongly advise against using Sonos speakers, or at least Sonos 1s.

Hi all, is there a way to force and app to play through bluetooth speakers?
I don’t know if anyone is familiar with the app White Noise Lite; it’s
available on iOs and Mac. I wanted it to play along side my music, but I’m not
sure if there’s a way to have both through external speakers.

Yes, you’ll have good luck most likely with your speaker and the mac. Anything
with bluetooth and the correct audio profiles will work. You’re also using the
internal amplifier of the speaker so should be able to get more output from the
device. Good luck and enjoy, let us know if you have an

Not sure, sorry, Bryan. Sounds like it could be a problem with the speakers, or
at least a compatibility problem. Were they advertised as being compatible with

Hey all,
I just recently connected a pair of bluetooth speakers to my mac, and twice I
have completely lost VO, not sure if it has been a bluetooth pairing issue or
me screwing up a setting. Both times I had to have someone who can see come in
