Is this accessibility true for the latest version of ProTools, or the older,
unavailable version for which you did the podcasts?

Video isn't going to happen, Audacity is audio only. You could use iMovie or
another app for adding the finished audio track to a video project.
To do what you're wanting, just open Audacity; it will have a new project open
automatically. Hit cmd-comma, choose the Devices item from the table, an
hello group; I want someone to help me understand how to use audacity for one
specific purpose. keyboard commands would be greatly appreciated. i want to
play the instrumental track and then record my voice over that. then if

I do not use the software, but have you try to set a point and the end point

move the markers by small increments, but I've always found it easier to do the

Hello,
I'm trying to use audacity to select a portion of a track. I know about the
left and right brackets to mark the start and end points. My question is how
do you adjust the markers? If there aren't some keyboard shortcuts for this
then the program isn't very useful to us.

I've never tried that function. Again, you should consider subscribing to the
audacity-users list, where people can answer your questions much more
accurately. If you mention that you can't see the screen and need key commands,
you usually get them instead of mouse instructions.

Ok, how do you find the option to alter the sound of your voice? I thought I'd
found the "vocode," feature at one point in time, but now that I've made a
voice recording, can't find the thing anywhere, which is one of the reasons I
downloaded the program in the first place.

First, open preferences (cmd-comma, as usual). I don't remember where, but in
one of the preference areas is a setting about applying an effect to the full
track if no audio is selected. If this is off, you can either turn it on, or
remember to press cmd-a before applying an effect if you want t
Also, when it comes to recording, I want to record my voice for example, and
attempt to alter that, sense I was told Audacity can do that, but can't figure
out how to do that, can I please get some help in that area?
