You pointed something that basically killed the 3D audio.
I just removed mic access., and now the entire spaceship environment has
returned to true 3D audio. I was wondering for quite a while what the hell was
going on, but had such a long list of todos, I didn't think about it.

microphone access, opening it forces VoiceOver to a much lower quality than
