I don't think you can delete the junk folder. Automatically. But the trash
folder should automatically be emptied automatically.

well, I guess I was calling that a setup. do I need to delete trash and junk

I had the trash for iCloud but not for Google. I called Apple accessibility and
they told me how to set it up on my Mac. we got. disconnected but I think I may
have figured it out. we’ll see.

While deleted mail does go into a separate Trash folder for each account, there
is indeed an All Trash folder, in which can be viewed all the items in the
individual trash folders.

I went looking for something I had hastily deleted and discovered that my trash
mailbox has no messages. where are they going when I delete them? I like to
keep them for a week. or. 2 and then get rid of them.

messages from my Google account. However, occasionally I have to delete and
re-add that account and that normally fix the problem.
