As I stated before, I got to it from the support link in the ITunes store.
Therefore, I was logged in. I think that is the difference.
I don't know if you've tried that or not.

Ok one other thing that's not Safari 5 related but did start after the install
of 5.0 is that VO restarts when reading message headers with trackpad commder

and have had no trouble so far with Safari 5.
I redeemed my monthly credit from Audible.com with no problems, and tried the
BBC Radio4 Listen Live stream for which I have to load flash, and that worked
perfectly.

Well, I loaded it from a link from within the ITunes store. So maybe it's the
same kind of issue as with audible in which you have to log in to experience
this. In both cases, there must be a flash or java applit being loaded.
