Hi Dave and all, I htink you have to go in to the preferences and then VO space on extensions. Then check the box to turn the extension on. This happened to me too once I enabled extensions, Click to Flash installed and is working perfectly. . Allison My birds are winged blessings, they help

Hi David, I'm not sure what you mean about the extension stopping accessible flash from playing. On the mac there is no such thing as accessible flash. But yes, as I explained it stops all flash from loading until you give it permission to load. Just do a vo space on the placeholder, interact wi

Hi, Yep that combination of click2flash and html5 video extension is pretty nifty. I've though altogether ridden myself of flash and any additional plugin to manage flash as a blind user. The html5 extension still works fine, and i found an flash audio player html5 converter as well. Here is

Pretty nice. I had to struggle with it for a bit to get it working properly, but now it does and I like it. On general principals I don't want websites to bother me with flash, but having the option to play the flash that was hidden before, is a definite plus IMO. -- Ruud -- You received this

If you haven't done so already, close all of your safari windows and then start safari again. Here's how to locate the click to flash options after you restart safari. In the extensions section of the preferences window, after the checkbox for enabling extensions, you'll find an extensions list

I just installed the click to flash extension, and the galery website tells me that it is installed. Yet I can't find it anywhere. When I go into the safari preferences and click on the extensions button in the tool bar, I see only one extension showing as installed, and it is not click to flash

Hi! Yep, it works very well. I've been using this for some time now. You can even add sites to a so-called "Whitelist" which enables a site to always load flash, but only those listed. It's very nice, as it helps load a site a lot faster and actually decreases a lot of CPU usage. Regards, Nic
