Hi Esther,
You are absolutely correct, I forgot to mention just that important deatil. ;-)
The default Notes app can only be synced through the air when using MObileMe,
otherwise wired connection is needed.
Thanks,

Hi John André,
I didn't think you could have an immediate sync of Notes unless you
had a MobileMe account. Is this not correct? Also, don't you need to
have the box checked to sync Notes on the Info tab when your device is
connected to sync when you connect by USB?
Cheers,

Hello Eric,
I was suggesting the Simplenote app as an alternative to the default
Notes app for the iPhone. However, you should be able to sync Notes
when you connect your iPhone to your Mac or PC through iTunes. For
Mac users, this is done through the Notes capability of Apple Mail.

Hi,
If you open Mail on your Mac, press control-command-N and write a note there,
it will be synced with Notes on your iPhone, either immediately or the next
time you connect - it depends on how you set up the sync.
Hope this helps,
John André

Another question about using Notes. Where on my Mac can I type a note
then have it sink to my notes application on my iPhone? I'm asking
about the Notes Application that comes with the phone. Tips
appreciated.

If you go to Apple's website, go to the iPhone section, and see the OS 4
link - click on that, and there should be something in there about watchign
the keynote. It streams in QuickTime and lasts approximately 1.5-2 hours.
They don't mention a price when regarding availability of the OS.
On Thu,
Rob, do you have a source that says that os 4 will be a free upgrade
for touch users? When os 3 was released it cost £10 so I was just
assuming that the same would be the case for os 4.
Esther, just quickly, whilst I didn't respond to the thred that

Hi Rob,
The iPad Keyboard Dock doesn't work with the iPod Touch or iPhone
under OS 3, but it will work under OS 4 according to the Gearlog Diary
tests. Also, not to repeat my earlier message post to this list, but
the Apple keyboards used with the iPad are reported to support the Mac

I wasn't sure if the ipad dock would work or not - this is exciting. :D

Hi Courtney,
As Rob states, in OS 4.0 you'll be able to use Bluetooth keyboards
and, as I posted earlier today in response to Buddy's post about
ordering the iPad, the iPhone and iPod Touch will also be dockable
with the iPad Keyboard Dock for typing input. We don't know about
voices yet
I forgot to mention, word of mouth says Braille Display support as well, I
think.

Wait until OS 4.0 They've managed to put languages in their own section on
the rotor, at least on the iPad, so there may be an English male voice in
there, and I'm hoping this will carry over to the iPod Touch. Also there
will be bluetooth keyboard support as well. OS 4 should be a free upgrade

Hi,
I was wondering first of all if there is a male, English-speaking voice for the
Ipod touch, if so where should I obtain it? And also is there such thing as a
QWERTY keyboard, bluetooth or otherwise that works with Ipod touch. It's kind
of a pain to type with it, which is a shame, I'd like to
