Sending Mail With Charter.net

Hello, I am trying to setup my charter email account. The outgoing mail server is smtp.charter.net according to charter support. I can't make this work and havew to use google as the outgoing server to send mail. Any help on this would be appreciated. Thanks Steve --~--~-~--~

Deleting Skype
