I've looked with some curiosity at the speech recognition capabilities of the
Mac. I wonder if I can create my own custom phrases that the mac will obey. For
instance, if I'm in the finder and I want to move something to the trash, can I
create a rule to say "trash this" or "kill this" instead o
Hi all,
Whenever I stream audio in Vlc through an m3u playlist, the player skips ahead
to the next track in the playlist before the current one finishes playing.
What's going on here, and how can I fix this?
Thanks.
Jes.

Hi all,I have found a financial program called See Finance, and it
looks pretty good. Was just wondering if anybody has compared it to
Quicken as far as features, and if so, which program is better?
Thanks

Hi all,
I've read that all I need to have on my mac for me to listen to my
audible content is ITunes. But, how do I import my books into my
library?
Thanks.

Hi all,
How the heck do I time stretch, increase or decrease the tempo of a
song without altering pitch in dj3? I tried holding the control key
while pressing 3, as the keyboard shortcut said to do, but I always
get the pitch adjusted as well, which is what I don't want.
Thanks for any help.

Just a quick question about Amadeus Pro. Does it have a pre/post roll
feature, as Sound Forge does? For those of you who are not up to par,
let me briefly explain. If I'm trying to edit a voice track or music
bed, a pre/post roll feature lets me hear what the result will sound
like before
Hi all,
Just catching up on emails from this group. Was interested in the
whole Dj3 program. It sounds a little like Ots DJ for Windows, www.otslabs.com
, formerly called Ots Juke Dj. My question is will DJ3 play anything
other than .m4a music from ITunes? I have a lot of mp3's and haven't
This is great news! Since Sony has no plans to make a version of sound
forge for the Mac, and since I want to go into audio production work,
the fact that digidesign is making strides for pro tools to be
accessible is very inspiring.

William, what are you talking about "voiceOver being so damn slow"? I
haven't noticed any sluggishness when arrowing up and down through the
message list, either with the VO keys or with the standard arrows.
