Hello Ronald
I use Kiwi.
I can confirm that voiceover works with this app, but i do not go onto twitter
for long periods of time so i am not sure how long period use goes (i.e lots of
scrolling through the timeline).

Yes you can add files or folders to your doc. They sit to the right of all of
your applications, just after the separator (where your stacks are normally
found)

Hello list
I am wondering whether it is possible to control the volume in itunes
but not touch the volume at which voiceover is heard? I would like to
be able listen to music whilst i am on the internet but i dont want it
to drown out voiceover - which is my issue at the moment.

Hello Angel
There is a version of Abbyy Finereader for the mac. I know that this is
brilliant on the PC and quite cost affective but I am not sure how it is on the
mac as it has only been made available in the last few years. This software
will scan your documents and then transfer to textedit

I was thinking exactly the same thing. Those with total vision loss would not
buy zoomtext, but rather purchase JAWS because it caters more to their needs.
From what i have seen, zoomreader has a lot of visual queues (buttons etc) and

hi Ray
I have not seen the thread previously started about zoom reader. Is it

Hi all. Not sure how many people are aware, but aisquare, who are
responsible for the creation of zoomtext, have launched Zoomreader for
the iphone. Basically its OCR for your iphone. Only $19.95 or
something! very reasonable.
Here is a link to some more information. I will be buying this!

Hi Alex
I am now running windows 7 through vmware on a 2008 iMac. I don't
think that it is very slow at all. The reason I went with the vmware
fusion route was because I wanted to be able to access my mac at the
same time. I have often wondered about whether it would be more snappy

Hi list
I am wondering what the best way to navigate mac visionaries is via
the web router? as in the best way to cycle through what discussions
are listed on the discussion page? is it through the "links" part or
the "Headers" or "auto web spots"?
Thanks

Hi all
I thought adium was supposed to be accessible to voiceover?
After interacting with the toolbar i cannot change my status (online,
offline etc) and then when i go into my contact list I cant open a
chat conversation. It keeps telling me that its empty.
I am sure that i have used adium with
the Mac.

I have a 2008 iMac and a 2010 Macbook pro. With my low vision, i

Hi everyone
I've been having some issues with the zoom function ever since I
upgraded to snow leopard.
I have found that whilst I am in zoom and I have the mouse resting
over something the screen will just jump to another part of the
screen.
For example, if I click on my 'download' stack and ho
