I've just started using a mac so sorry if my information is vague.
in voiceOver preferences in El Capitan there is a feature for voice ducking.
This is on by default and will cause VO volume to change.
If you untick the button this should stop it from changing.
It did for me once I upgra

and press enter I get the error sound.
I can get sighted assistance to get past this and get it talking to go
in and_uncheck the box to ask for password on startup.
Is there a way to get past this point without sighted assistance?

I just saw that a least one aspect of xm radio has become compatible
with voiceover.
Does anyone use XM and is it totally accessible. In particular I'm
looking for the portable model.

I just got Dragon Dictates and I can't get it to give me any
instructions on installation. On line all the set ups I've seeing
involve a lot of dragging and dropping. any one out there know how to
